** Johnstown BBQ Day is an alcohol free event. If you purchase alcohol at local restaurants, it cannot be consumed within the event boundaries and must be consumed within their establishment. **

  • 5:00 AM - ANNUAL FRFR PANCAKE BREAKFAST​

  • 8:00 AM - FOOTBALL PUNT-PASS-KICK

    • RHS Practice Fields​, sponsored by Scheels

    • 7:30 AM registration in-person

    • Prizes for top 3 in each age bracket

      • 6-8 yrs

  • 9:00 AM - TRPR ADULT ONE-PITCH SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT -- CANCELLED​​

  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - ANNUAL BBQ DAY PARADE

    • 8:00-9:00 AM - Check-in and lineup at Rolling Hills Ranch Blvd and 3rd St.​

    • Modified route, new starting point (due to construction on Charlotte Ave)!

    • 20 food trucks providing BBQ and other savory and sweet options​​​

    • 100+ vendor booths along Parish Ave and Charlotte St, between downtown and Parish Park​

    • AirBound Colorado - Fun and free activities for kids of all ages

  • 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Walkthrough of the current RHS building and rummage sale. 

    • While enjoying the Johnstown BBQ Day, you are invited to come in for a "farewell" walkthrough of the current RHS and pick up some treasure at the rummage sale.

  • 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM - YMCA traditional family friendly field games including sack race, three legged race, tug o war, croquet, bocce ball, ​​​​corn hole, ring toss, and more. 

​

  • 1:00 PM - HORSESHOE TOURNAMENT

    • Kenny Electric sponsored and run, pits on the NE corner of Charlotte St and Raymond Pl​

    • Register at the pits on BBQ Day starting at 11:30 AM; $20 per team, limit 20 teams​​

  • 2:00 PM - ANNUAL DUCK RACE

    • Pending full details from Milliken-Johnstown Lions Club

  • 7:00 PM - FREE CONCERT --POSTPONED TO A FUTURE DATE. 

    • Come rock with El Loco Fandango, Colorado's premier ZZ Top tribute band!​

    • South end field and stadium seating

    • Enjoy the music and atmosphere leading up to the fireworks

  • 9:00 PM (approximately) - FIREWORKS --POSTPONED TO A FUTURE DATE.

    • Launched from North side of Roosevelt High School

    • North/Northwest side of RHS, parking and viewing the same as always

    • South side of RHS field and stadium after concert
